We come across parents who sacrifice all their pleasures, health and wealth for their children. Most of the parents are prepared to sacrifice even their lives for the future of their children. But there are some rare instances of parents doing business with the precious careers of their children and leading luxurious life when their children toil day and night. One can come across such instances in Telugu film industry. Especially in the case of heroines imported from North India, their parents have turned out to be their villains.
Take the case of Arti Agarwal for whom her father Shashank Agarwal is said to have become a villain for her. For more than five years, Arti ruled the Telugu film industry with several hit films, having paired with top heroes like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Prabhas and Tarun. Now, she has become a D-grade artiste in the films and the reason for her degradation is nothing but her father's greed and lust for money. He has spoiled Arti's precious career and even her personal life.
It is known to everybody in the Telugu film industry that Shashank Agarwal can stoop down to any level for the sake of money. Now, he has gone to the extent of forcing Arti to do any mean role in any third grade films by fixing her rate per day. It is learnt Shashank would harass her physically and beat up severely in front of servants in the house, if she did not agree to his whims. One can recall how Arti had to go into coma once because of Shashank's indiscriminate beating and had to get her head tonsured!
