The age old saying goes “Enemy’s enemy is a friend” and this is something the film couple Rajasekhar- Jeevitha seem to be following when it comes to Chiranjeevi. Usually, they are always thinking “When we will get a chance to attack Chiranjeevi”. Now, sources reveal Jeevitha has found the answer in Sirish Bharadwaj.

Buzz is that the film couple has already started making moves to befriend Sirish. On the other hand, sources close to Chiru family reveal that Sirish became a ‘Bakra’ suddenly and all this is actually a match fixing done by Chiranjeevi who was successful in brainwashing Srija to file a case against Sirish.

It is heard that in the court, Srija mentioned that she was writing emails to her parents about Sirish’s torture. When the court asked for a printout of the emails, she went blank and after a while she replied that she has deleted the emails due to fear that Sirish would see them. Then, the court reportedly asked her to produce the printouts from her father or mother’s email ids for which Srija had no answer.

This news has reached Jeevitha and sources say she wants to take Sirish in her arm and fight for justice albeit with the motive of defaming Chiru once again hitting media.

'Shakti' Special Show @ Rs 2000 Ticket

When the costliest film ever made in Tollywood arrives, it is obvious that even the ticket price also becomes the costliest. Something like that was seen at the Cinemax theatre last night. The film we are talking about is ‘Shakti’ and there was a 11 pm show organized for the Nandamuri fans exclusively.

One of them revealed that the ticket was sold at a whopping Rs 2000 and the frenzy was so high that people were willing to shell out twice the amount. In the end, there were many who could not get the tickets but barged their way in taking the name of Nandamuri fans association. Few others have stayed back overnight to take the tickets for the first show which begins at 10 am.

Reports are arriving that ‘Shakti’ has appeased the fans of Junior NTR in a big way and the first half is tremendously mind blowing. What he plucked in these 24 years other than living healthy.”

Another member commented “Latest, he has got Padma Vibhushan. What is it he did so far? For that matter, icons like Bapu, Ramana got nothing despite their valuable contributions. The time has come to talk about the big release for this weekend and it is a project which is making a mark in the history of Tollywood. We are talking about ‘Shakti’ slated to be the costliest movie ever made in Tollywood and this is hitting the screens today.

The film has Junior NTR in the lead and he is pairing up with Ileana in the lead. There is also a flurry of stars such as Sonu Sood, Jackie Shroff, Pooja Bedi, Prabhu, S P Balasubramaniam etc. This is directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by Aswini Dutt while the music is composed by Mani Sharma.

Apparently, strong grapevine has been on about problems between ‘good friends’ Rana and Shriya after the entry of Bipasha in Rana’s life. According to sources, Shriya is not happy with the way her name is being dragged into the issue. She has reiterated that she is very much single and is cross with Rana- Bipasha for using her name and gain publicity for their film.

Lately, a lot of news has been making rounds about Daggubati Rana and Shriya. Apparently, both have been linked up to having an affair. However, the towering hunk gave his clarification as to how he knew her from college days and nothing more. However, it appears that Shriya is not too happy with Rana.

A close friend of Shriya revealed that the pretty girl was quite miffed as to why Rana has been behaving indifferently with her in the recent few weeks. When asked for the detail here is the story.

Srija Not Ready For Compromise With Sirish?

It is now more or less confirmed that megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter Srija is not interested in having a compromise with her husband Sirish Bharadwaj, but wants to get separated.

On Thursday, Srija failed to turn up at the Legal Services Authority, which had summoned her following a request from Sirish that he wanted to speak to Srija privately and pacify her.

After knowing that Srija would not be coming to the authority, Sirish also did not turn up.

The legal services authority gave a fresh date of April 16 for both Srija and Sirish for appearance. In the meantime, the police authorities too have begun efforts to bring a patch-up between them.

They have so far not arrested Sirish though the court had not granted him anticipatory bail. They want to give some more time for Srija to come to an agreement with her husband.

Interestingly, Srija has not so far produced before the police the e-mails and transcripts of the text messages reportedly sent by her to her parents about the alleged physical and mental harassment by Sirish and his mother. Hence, the delay in arrest of Sirish, sources said.

After the sudden demise of Comedy King, director EVV Satyanarayana, the post remained vacant. However, industry pundits are saying that one of the present ruling directors of Tollywood, Srinu Vytla can occupy the position easily. This successful maker is loosing sleep as per reports due to some impending problems. Completing the shoot of 'Dookudu' with Mahesh Babu is the biggest challenge before Srinu Vytla now. Due to some unavoidable reasons like T-agitation, Tollywood Strike and Prakash Raj’s date problems, the shooting has already delayed largely. Doubts are rising that Naga Chaitanya is not 100% happy with his new movie ‘100% Love’ directed by Sukumar and produced by Allu Aravind. News is that Chaitu feels the director’s conditions that cinema must be made in limited days and limited budget has become a minus.

Since Sukumar took 2 years for making ‘Jagadam’ and almost the same time for ‘Arya 2’, it is heard that Allu Aravind has taken a written agreement from Sukumar for doing Chaitu’s film. But then, Akkineni fans are angry that Allu has not used the same principle for his son Allu Arjun’s film ‘Badrinath’ under the direction of V V Vinayak and gave full freedom.

'Shakti' In Tensions Of 'Dwiteeya Vighnam'

However, an inside report is suggesting that the chances are that the film might face a horrible ‘dwiteeya vighnam’ with respect to collections and the reason for that is the World Cup.

The World cup finals are happening on April 2nd and with team India entering the finals, it is obvious that many will not come to the theatres during the matinee, 1st show and 2nd show. Logically speaking, ‘Shakti’ might suffer a ‘Dvitiya Vignam’ which is usually considered a negative sign in the cine industry.

With this, few cine members are speculating whether ‘Shakti’ should go for a postponement. But unit members say the official announcements have been made and it is too late to make any changes. So, they just have to move forward and battle it with the World Cup Finals.

Lessons To Be Learned From Balayya

Superstars and tantrums go hand in hand. This is the strong belief in the cine circuit. However, Nandamuri Balakrishna is one man who is an exception to that. Despite being part of the ‘Big 4’ of the Tollywood circuit, it is heard that Balayya has always been few steps ahead when it comes to people and his nature.

A famous director who worked with Balayya revealed “Balayya does not demand a caravan. Generally, he sits under a tree with table and chair and sometimes has a fan whenever there is a break between scenes. He comes to sets 30 minutes prior to reporting time just like his father.”

Another director revealed an interesting bit “Balayya often carries a voice recorder.  He has the habit of recording his own voice in tape recorder and does a self judging of dialogue delivery. He also does homework on his character and his body language.”

All this has got many to raise one question- In the film ‘Khadgam’, there was a character which is shown as having 30 years experience in the film industry. Many assumed it was Balayya at that time but it appears he is not. There is no link between the real Balayya and the character shown in Khadgam. So…. who is that hero?

'Shakti'- Expectations Very Down- A Boon!!!

It has been a testified history that films that come in with huge expectations usually tend to disappoint audience and end up becoming duds. On the contrary, films that come in with silence or negative talk pick up massively and become blockbusters. The likes of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ in Bollywood, ‘Arundhati’ ‘Chatrapathi’ are some examples.

Parties and get-togethers are a common feature of cine circuit and if that happens from a superstar’s end then the impact is more. However, this time a different get-together happened and that too for a patriotic cause. All this happened at the property owned by Nagarjuna.

Director Forces Sexy Heroine To Smoke!!

It is often an effort of the director to make his film as realistic as possible. However, there are times when he must know where to draw the line. This is something director Rohan Sippy may have forgotten when he was persuading the sexy Bipasha Basu to smoke a cigarette for a scene in his movie ‘Dum Maro Dum’.

Apparently, Bips is a strong anti-smoker and it is heard that Rohan was all over her convincing Bipasha to just do one shot. Finally, the pretty girl agreed and after many hours of practice, she did the required. However, it is heard that Rohan simply chopped the whole scene off and this enraged Bips to the fullest.

The pretty girl was literally fuming since she had to go through a lot of psychosis only to find out that the entire thing has been chopped. YVS who gave the colossal disaster ‘Okka Magadu’ kept low for a while but eventually he teamed up with the corporate banner BIG movies and gave another shock in the form of ‘Saleem’. Sources say that in the bargain, the corporate ended up dumping Rs 8 crores in the drain listening to YVS’s projections. Since then, the common opinion among corporate circles is not to venture freely into Tollywood.

Well, it is not just the emotional thing but more than that, it is the financial depression. Apparently, sources say Jagapathi Babu is immersed in serious financial commitments and that’s why he is picking up any role that is coming his way to clear them. However, those who know him personally say these commitments are not justified.

A friend of the star revealed “Jaggu has this bad addiction to gambling. He keeps visiting the casino in Goa and blew away a lot of money there. Now he is busy trying to make up for all that unwanted expenditure. 'Nootokka Jillala Andagaadu' Is No More

Popular villain-turned-character artiste Nutan Prasad is no more. The 61-year old versatile actor, who was ailing for some time, died while being taken to Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.

Born on October 10, 1950, Nutan Prasad, whose real name was Tadinada Vara Prasad, started his career as a theatre artiste and made his entry into films with Andala Ramudu as a small-time villain. He played a similar role in Mutyala Muggu, which brought him a lot of name and fame.

His acting career reached its peak with the movie "Rajadhiraju" in which he acted as Saitan. The movie became very popular by his acting and the song " Kotta devudandi babu kotta devudandi" is still popular till today.

Nutan Prasad although acted with all the generation of heroes was particularly popular with the second generation heroes. Movies like "Patnam Vachina Pativratalu", "Khaidi (village munsab)", "Magamaharaju" ,"Srivariki Premalekha", "Kathanayakudu", "Aha Naa Pellanta" etc continued his winning streak.

He was famous for dialogues such as "Desham chala klishta paristitilo undhi..." and “Nootokka Jillala Andaganni”. In 1989 While shooting for the film Baama Maata Bangaaru Baata he had an accident on his spine that left him paralysed from the waist down and since then, he had to use wheel chair. He then quit acting in movies. Once in a while he appeared in guest roles. He also gives voice over and commentary for serials and movies.

He won Nandi award for the best actor in a supporting role in 1984. In 2005, Nutan Prasad was bestowed upon with NTR National award. His dialogue delivery gave villainism a comic touch. He co-starred in many movies with almost all big stars like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Chiru etc doing all kinds of characters like a comedian, villain, character artist etc, he even acted as a hero in one movie.

Before his accident, Nutan Prasad had tried his luck in politics, too. Being a staunch follower of NTR, he joined the Telugu Desam Party and campaigned for the party in the elections. Later, he dropped out of the politics because of accident.

Was 'Magadheera' Horse from Ali's Stud Farm?

After sensational revelations about the alleged nexus between money launderer Hasan Ali and politicians and film stars, there is a buzz in political circles that Ali, who owns a stud farm in Pune, had supplied top breed horses for the shooting of the hugely successful movie "Magadheera". The actor-turned-politician and Praja Rajyam Party President Chiranjeevi's son Ramcharan Teja plays the lead role in the film.

In fact, a black horse which appears prominently in the fantasy movie was specially picked up from the Pune farm owned by Hasan Ali. There are also rumours that Ramcharan had stayed in Pune to undergo training in horse-riding. Several action scenes in the movie, directed by Rajamouli, involve horses.

Though Chiranjeevi vehemently denied any links with Hasan Ali, it is said that at that time neither the actor nor any of his advisers had any knowledge about the nefarious activities of Ali. Some believe that It could be a case of professional arrangement between a stud farm owner and a film unit.

According to the report in a New Delhi based daily, Ali, who is now in the CBI custody, helped a former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and a prominent film star-turned politician to launder their ill- gotten wealth and pump it back to fund elections and movies. Investigators said Ali was not just laundering black money, but was also helping politicians and film stars access it whenever they wanted.

Though the report did not mention the names of these two leaders for want of documentary evidence, it was obvious that it was referring to Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and Chiranjeevi. The report said Ali had assisted at least two regional political parties of AP in routing back their black money for election campaigns during the past decade.

“I do not know who this Hasan Ali is,” declared the actor-turned-politician and Praja Rajyam Party President Chiranjeevi.

“Films were my life throughout my career. Anushka Depressed, Treatment In Bangalore!!

Even if the film is slated as a dud at the Box Office, 'Publicity' monster never stops its work, making people laugh further. More interest is generated if utter flop heroes talk about another utter flop flick. Jagapathi Babu's recent release 'Chattam' is pulled out of many theatres for the negative talk it got on day one itself. With a predictable storyline and less technical standards, director Arun Prasad (Pawan Kalyan's 'Thammudu' fame) failed to deliver a gripping tight content that can woo the viewers. On the other hand, dud heroes like Rajasekhar and Tarun are speaking a lot in the media about this flick. Rajasekhar went on comparing the flick with his 'Ankusam', while Tarun stated that the concept is thrilling. Industry people are poking fun at these flop stars for the 'dappu' they are beating in people's ears.
