Ram Gopal Varma Becomes 'MOORKHUDU'!!

Is known that Ram Gopal Varma has been getting close to people by irritating them with his arrogant answers and making movies those spell violence and satirical venom. Many are worried about this but unable to find a solution.

But a guy has taken step to make a movie based on the life of Ram Gopal Varma with title ‘Moorkhudu’. The film is hitting the floors on Feb 15th at Vijayawada and Udaya Kumar is the director.

Udaya Kumar said that he got disgusted by the way Ram Gopal Varma is making Tollywood a dust bin with his senseless talk and essenceless movies; and hence decided to make a film hitting him hard with full dose of satires.

When Ram Gopal Varma was informed about this film, he said, “Wonderful. I liked the title. I love to give first clap for this film if invited”.

Well, there is a saying in Telugu, ‘mondi vaadu raaju kannaa balavanthudu’. That aptly fits RGV. 

'Appalraju' postponed

With ' Jai Bolo Telangana ' (JBT) is hitting the screens on February 4th, several other films that were scheduled for release on the same day landed in a fix. Ram Gopal Varma cleverly took the decision to postpone his KSD Appalraju a nd not to compete with JBT. Appalraju is now postponed to February 10th.

Nizam area is now biggest market for Telugu films and almost half of the collections are coming from this region. So no producer would want to compete with JBT that naturally has clear edge in the area. Moreover, all TV channels in the state would provide extensive coverage to JBT on Feb 4th, so other films won't get attention at all. Considering all these aspects, Appalraju is postponed to Feb 10th, althoughAppalraju is also hottest project. 

'Dongala Mutha'- A Copy From Hollywood Flick

Ram Gopal Varma is usually known for his original ideas though some of them are inspirations from Hollywood. This time, the buzz is about his new movie ‘Dongala Mutha’ and going by what Ramu says, if it gets executed like that then it sure will rewrite the history of film making.

For now, it is heard that ‘Dongala Mutha’ is basically a copy. Most of the film will be happening inside a home and it is heard that the inspiration for that has come from the scary Hollywood thriller ‘Paranormal Activity’ which is directed by Oren Peli.

The mystery is, whether Ramu will induce a horror element in this or cook up a regular thriller like his ‘Kaun’. If it’s a copy of ‘Paranormal Activity’ then what form of nativity elements will be included for the Telugu audience to connect is another question. Some other say that it is going to be an out and out comedy thriller. We have to wait and see what it is actually.

Top Director’s ‘Dabba’ Business On Twitter

By now, it is more or less understood by many that Ram Gopal Varma is not only a man who knows his craft but is also good at pushing it in the market. True to his skills, he seems to have found an effective way of scooping up resources for his projects and that too with minimum efforts. 

Apparently, Ramu has been working on the Twitter network and using it for his business. Usually, he praises the celebs those he wants and traps them. Given his prowess with words and the way he stitches them, the lines are captivating and tends to appeal to the readers and also those about whom it is written.

Meanwhile, his ‘Dabba’ (praising) formula seems to be working out and Lakshmi Manchu is a good example for that who joined as an artiste in his ‘Dongala Mutha’. Some are also saying that maybe Chiranjeevi is also a future target for Ramu given the way the megastar is being pumped through Ramu’s tweets.

Hero Says ‘Neeeeee Ammaa’ To Heroine

It needs no introduction or explanation to convey what the word ‘Nee Amma’ means and technically, using this word will be a strict no-no to Telugu cinema. However, it appears that director Ram Gopal Varma has now decided to take a shot through his film ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju’.

Apparently, he has penned a song which is rather spicy and the lyrics are quite raunchy. Now, the song comprises of the word ‘nee amma’ nearly 10 times and Ramu is sensing that the censor board might object. So now, he has come up with a remix and changed it to ‘your mummy….. your mummy…..’

These forbidden words are uttered by the hero on the heroine and the talk is that if the censor board okays, the original track will arrive but if they don’t then the remix track will arrive conveying the essence of the line.

Puri And Harish Shankar @ ‘Dongala Mutha’

It is known news that Ram Gopal Varma is all set to take off with a rather unusual yet sensational project. This is the film ‘Dongala Mutha’ which will be made in a record breaking 5 days and that too with just 8 crew members. Now, the update is that 2 out of the 8 have been confirmed.

First in the list is Puri Jagannadh and it is heard that he would be the co-director for Ramu in the film and secondly, it would be Harish Shankar of ‘Mirapakaya’ fame who will be donning the role of an associate director. The remaining 6 are yet to be confirmed.

This is a historical feat and it is heard that there is huge competition for the remaining six posts. Inside talk is that on the sets, there will be only 8 technicians excluding Ram Gopal Varma. Now that Puri and Harish are in the team, all eyes are now on who is going to be the chosen six for this historical project.

Who's Director For Rakta Charitra-3?

When Ram Gopal Varma came in with his ‘Rakta Charitra’ and its sequel, it exposed the Indian audience to a new dimension of revenge and blood bath. While the results at the box office were mixed, the impact was good enough for the viewers. Now, here is an update on those lines.

This is about having ‘Rakta Charitra 3’ and the man responsible for this topic is C. Kalyan. Apparently, in one of his interviews, he was mentioning about coming up with a third part to the ‘RC’ series and stated that it will happen once Bhanu Kiran is found. This got many asking if he was serious or joking?

As such, Ram Gopal Varma has made it clear that he will never take up ‘Rakta Charitra’ again. On the other hand, C Kalyan is known to be a big fan of hero Rajasekhar. The cine folks are now wondering will he put Rajasekhar as the hero? If so, who will be directing this project?

With some channels reporting on Bhanu’s arrest, maybe it is time for C Kalyan to make the announcement.
