'Savitri' Going To Rana Daggubati

It has been quite a while since the film ‘Savitri’ has been on the anvil. This was meant to be a project with victory Venkatesh in the lead while the director is Teja. But the latest update which is making rounds has brought up a new discussion.

It is heard that mostly Venkatesh might move away from this and Daggubati Rana might do the film now. Inside sources reveal that the character suits Rana more and the feeling is that it won’t really create much of an impact if Venky does it. Hence, the slide from uncle to nephew is looking possible.

As such, the project is quite crucial to all those involved. While Teja is looking to make a thumping comeback, Venky needs a solid hit if he is part of this project since his last film was average. As for Rana, he is yet to stabilize his position so a hit with ‘Savitri’ will do a lot of good to his graph. Only time will tell who will be the chosen one.

Director Teja’s Property Worth Rs 250 Cr

Dynamic director Teja has always been known for his path breaking movies and head breaking flops. However, did you know that despite his almost obsolete film graph, the man is a crorepati? Well, reliable sources say that as of today, Teja stands at nearly Rs 250 crores of property.

Well, it is heard that when times were good, Teja made a lot of investment in lands and all those investments are now fetching him bright results. The cine sources say Teja is already on the plans to commence his second innings and he is also looking at producing a film or two. But sources say that his family members are stopping him from investing on films and hence he is running behind Suresh Babu to okay the project ‘Savitri’.

Many have benefited in the film circuit by investing in lands and it is heard that even stars like Srikanth, Sri Hari did something similar.  Well, now that his money power is known, let us hope that Teja gets to show his directorial power again on the screen. 

Venkatesh Keeps 'Savitri' At Distance?

Victory Venkatesh is a choosy man when it comes to his films. Those who know him say he is very picky about his scripts and their commercial viability. Now, since few months, the talk was on about Venky teaming up with director Teja and doing a film titled ‘Savitri’.

It is also heard that he would soon hit the floors with the project once ‘Nagavalli’ is completed. However, that has not happened and another update has arrived. Sources reveal that Venky has gone ahead and signed a film with Trivikram Srinivas. As for Teja’s film, no decision has been taken so far.

While the reasons for that are unknown, it is heard that a formal announcement is soon expected on the Trivikram project. But some are saying that ‘Savitri’ is very much in the pipeline and it will take off either simultaneously with Trivikram’s project or after that. Only Venky or Teja can confirm that.
