IPL Vs Pawan Kalyan: Who Scores?

Usually, it has been seen that there is a competition of sorts between Cricket and cinema. History has shown how a cinema gets hit badly due to a cricket match series.
But now, many are curious to see who is going to emerge as the winner this time. The tussle is between Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Teen Maar’ and ongoing Indian Premiere League T-20 cricket tournament.

Apparently, ‘Teen Maar’ has got a hit talk and considering Pawan’s last few releases which didn’t click, his fans are all thrilled and pumped up to promote this flick.
However, there is one talk that the mass audiences may not like this movie considering its genre, backdrop and sensitivity.

Few of them say it will work since the story will connect with all classes due to the flashback episode and the South Africa episode. However, the trade pundits say weekend is not the parameter to say that the film has got a hit talk.
They state that they will get the actual report on Monday. Usually, even Pawan’s flop films tend to have decent collections with barely 20% - 30% difference from first day to last day. Let us see whether it is the IPL fever or Pawan mania that will work now.

IPL's hottest host - Shibani Dandekar

IPL's hottest host - Shibani Dandekar
Model, singer and television host Shibani Dandekar steps into her very large shoes. For the longest time we knew Shibani Dandekar as MTV VJ Anusha Dandekar's sister.

Now, it seems like the hottie, who is one of the hosts of Extraa Innings during the DLF IPL 4 matches is all set to carve a niche for herself.

Shibani has been making men on and off the field weak in their knees. Her smouldering hot looks haven't gone unnoticed in the fashion circles either. She has shot for the men's magazine GQ India in the past.

Shibani enters a completely different league with IPL, replacing Mandira Bedi who is taking a break this season as she is set to deliver her baby.

"I've done anchoring for many years, but this would be for the first time I'm taking up anchoring for a sports presentation and what could be better than IPL! I'm looking forward to travelling across the country."

"After Mandira Bedi's successful stint, the stage opened for other women to join in. Yes, I will add glam to cricket, but that will not take away from our work. We want people to focus on our content delivery. The experts in the studio will give expert comments on cricket. We will be on ground to bring out the entertainment in cricket," says Shibani.

Shibani is open for acting in films too. "Not now but, in the future if I come across some interesting film project, why not?," says the hot starlet.

Shriya is ready for 'Anything'!!!

Shriya is ready for 'Anything'!!!
The other day sexy heroine Shriya Saran made the jubilant crowd go mad with her dance moves in public. Shaking her curvaceous waist alongside Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, the ravishing siren electrified the opening ceremony of IPL 4.

Apparently, Shriya was roped in to dance at a cost of 25 lakh rupees for that sparkling night. Currently busy with shooting of Deepa Mehta's film 'Midnight's Children' in SriLanka, the sexy beauty rushed in a flight to dance, only for the sake of money as per sources. No films and no new product endorsements are pushing Shriya to cross boundaries.

Offlate, Shriya is accepting character roles that have glamour touch for money and the recent Manchu Manoj flick 'Mr.Nokia' comes under the same category. However, the news of Shriya's walking out from the project is also doing rounds in the industry, as the remunerations are generally very less in 'Manchu' camp.

Brand Ambassadors in IPL

Brand ambassadors have played quite an interesting role in the IPL so far.
The brand ambassadors are more than just eye-candy for the spectators on the field. Their association with the teams bring a glamourous appeal to the teams and also increase their value in team standings. The bigger the star the greater is the prestige of the team.
We take a look at the association of different brand ambassadors of teams, since the induction of the Indian Premier League.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
The team headed by the 'King of Good Times' Vijay Mallya, had Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone as the brand ambassadors of the team alongside south stars Ramya and Upendra. Katrina Kaif has, however, stepped down as the brand ambassador of the team due to her hectic schedule. In her absence, we expect Deepika taking on as the face of the team.
Delhi Daredevils
Delhi has the original khiladi boy representing their team in the IPL. In Akki, the supporters of the Delhi team have found an apt ambassador as he originally hails from Delhi and hence the ability to relate with him is greater for the supporters.
Mumbai Indians
Bollywood biggies like Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor were seen cheering the team during the tournaments. All four brand ambassadors managed to bring in a lot of added glamour and entertainment during the matches.
Deccan Chargers
Deccan Chargers signed on Saina Nehwal as their brand ambassador in the very beginning. Now that she has mopved on to rule the roost with her fantastic game-play, she will surely inspire the players .
Rajasthan Royals
With Shilpa Shetty as the owner, who needs a brand ambassador? However, the Shetty babe isn't the only one promoting the team as Ila Arun is also the brand ambassador of the team.
Kings XI Punjab
Preity Zinta also shares the same story as Shilpa Shetty, being the co-owner of her team. While Preity does her best to popularize her team, brand ambassador, Daler Mehndi evokes the Punjabi spirit in the followers.
Kolkata Knight Riders
Shah Rukh Khan helms the team and does everything else to ensure his team remains NO.1 in the popularity list. The brand ambassadors of the team are his close buddies Arjun Rampal, Juhi Chawla, Sajid and Farah Khan. and himself.
Chennai Super Kings
The team did not go the Bollywood way when it came to choosing a brand ambassador. They went for South stars Vijay, Nayantara along with Srikkanth. Srikkanth is no more the ambassador of the team as his contract expired, Nayantara was fired for feigning sickness and Vijay was found lethargic. Wonder who the new brand ambassador will be.
