RGV Patches Up With TV9 Raviprakash: What's Up?

It is still fresh in the memory of the people how popular television channel TV9 ran a big story against maverick film director Ramgopal Verma and run him down for his crazy ideas and silly plots. So much so that RGV had even gone to the extent of lodging a complaint with the police against Raviprakash, chief executive officer of TV9 for tarnishing his image.

In fact, there were also reports that RGV decided to take revenge on Raviprakash by creating a satirical character in his forthcoming film “Bezavada Rowdeelu” to run down the TV9 CEO or even make a film entirely based on the latter’s real life rags-to-riches story.

One does not know what happened to this war between the two subsequently, but one was surprised to find Raviprakash doing a rather soft interview with RGV in his popular show “Encounter With Raviprakash,” on Sunday night. Interestinlgy, it was a sort of “promo” for RGV’s latest film Dongala Mutha, which turned out to be an utter “bakwas”.

It is heard that some common friends had mediated between RGV and Raviprakash. And the latter had sent an SMS to RGV, tendering an apology. Of course, RGV also reportedly reciprocated Raviprakash gesture with a nice party where everything was arranged for the latter. And the Sunday’s interview was a sort of friendly gesture by Raviprakash!

Yandamuri Veerendranath Upset On TV9

The tactics of the electronic media are quite crooked and we have seen how their devious methods played a key role in the Telangana crisis and many other important issues. As a result, the impact on the society was negative and the suffering of an individual was double.

This is something even a learned man like Yandamuri Veerendranath didn’t realize and he is paying the price. Apparently, Yandamuri is reportedly very upset with the TV9 channel. This is about his statement he made on RGV’s ‘Naa Ishtam’ and the treatment he was made to get by RGV, thanks to TV9.

Yandamuri was sharing his thoughts with his friends when he has reportedly said “I don’t understand why they should make me say something on the book and get a reply from RGV. They dragged me into this, instigated me. When there are so many writers why did they choose me?”

It is heard he also retorted “why TV9 showed my clipping to Ramu, provoke him and get me scolded? This is cheap.”

Yes, TV9 made Yandamuri a scapegoat in RGV issue. Much to the embarrassment of Veerendranath, RGV retorted calling him a monkey.

RGV to take revenge on TV9 Raviprakash?

After failing get a case registered against Raviprakash, Chief Executive Officer of popular television channel TV9 for making tarnishing his image with personal comments, maverick film maker Ramgopal Verma is learnt to have decided to take revenge on the former in his own style.

According to buzz in film circles, RGV is likely to create a satirical character in his forthcoming film “Bezavada Rowdeelu” to run down Raviprakash; or even make a film entirely based on the real life rags-to-riches story of Raviprakash. Everybody knows how Raviprakash had grown from an ordinary, small time reporter to that of a CEO of a channel that spread across the country. RGV is collecting details about the darker side of Raviprakash’s life, his benami assets and his illegal affairs.

RGV is now busy identifying the victims of Raviprakash who had earlier worked with him and presently working in other channels and also those who know him in close quarters for several years. Besides RGV’s assistants, noted director Puri Jagannath is also helping him in preparing the script against Ravi Prakash.

It may be mentioned that Puri Jagannath, who treats RGV as his godfather in the film industry, is also dead against TV9 channel and its CEO Raviprakash. One might have noticed satirical comments against TV9 in his blockbuster film “Pokiri” and also “143” starring his brother Sairam Shankar!

TV9's Intention Behind 'Ram Dhamaal Varma'

Recently, the TV9 Channel came up with an exclusive titled ‘Ram Dhamaal Varma’ and chided the movie director in their own way. As a result, RGV has reportedly decided to put a criminal case on the TV channel. However, reliable sources from TV9 are now revealing the inside story behind this.

A key person associated with the program revealed “RGV is a nation renowned director with international standard. But lately, it was looking like he is not putting focus on his films. The intention behind our program was to remind him of his potential and true abilities in a friendly way”.

He also revealed “We didn’t expect Ramu to go in for a court case as he is the most sportive person when it comes to criticism. There is also a talk that the voiceover was given by Ravi Prakash for the program. That is not true. In fact, Ravi Prakash said to stop the program as he felt it could go off mark. Many have mistaken the voiceover as his voice”.

While the point from TV9 is this, RGV says that he took the issue serious as TV9 has unethically pointed in a wrong way that he said ‘audiences are fools’ and he never said that at any time. TV9 says that those words weren’t sounded at all in the program.

The bottom line of this issue is that the program was made and aired without the knowledge of Ravi Prakash who intervened and stopped the program to prevent from going it further.
