Balayya's Title To Be Changed To 'Panjaa'

Sentiments and cinema industry run hand in hand and when it comes to big league heroes, the dosage is high. Now, one such man who believes strongly in such things is Nandamuri Balakrishna. It is heard that Balayya has been showing special focus on the titles of his projects and he has a sentiment regarding that.

After the success of ‘Simha’, Balayya has been looking for wild animal instinct on his film title. As such, wild animal names like ‘Simha’ ‘Puli’ ‘Chirutha’ are already used and they can’t use the names of wolf or jackal. Now, it is heard that Balayya is looking for a change of title in his new project. Buzz is that they are planning to use the title ‘Panjaa’.

Nandamuri fans are quite eager to see Balayya score a hit after getting shock treatment in the form of ‘Parama Veera Chakra’. While the title ‘Panjaa’ is sending a strong feel about the film, let us hope it is filled with enough content to help Balayya create a box office bonanza.

Exclusive: Balayya and Nag combo?

Nandamuri's and Akkineni’s are pillars of the Telugu cinema industry. Both NT Ramarao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao had started their careers at the same time and they went on to rule the Telugu Cinema for decades. Although they competed with each other, they both shared many hits together - Missamma, Gundamma Katha, Ramakrishnulu, etc. Despite many attempts, their sons Balakrishna and Nagarjuna could not act together. Finally this dream combination of Balakrishna and Nagarjuna is materializing.

Producer Bellamkonda Suresh reportedly convinced both Balayya and Nagarjuna to come together in the remake of Malayalam super hit - Christian Brothers. The original movie had Mohan Lal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep and Sharath Kumar. Bellamkonda approached Balayya with this film and he said to have agreed to do the movie if Nagarjuna agrees. Nag is also positive about this proposal too.

We have to wait and see if this really goes to the sets.

Balayya's BLN @ Sree Rama Rajyam Shoot

Though he becomes the common target for many netizens and other audience when his film releases, Nandamuri Balakrishna has got a special respect and regard in the cinema circuit. The reason for that is his discipline and the commitment levels he shows while working on his films. That is why, most of the films that have gone kaput in his career, his performance was never the reason.

Right now, it is heard that Balayya is going through BLN (Brandy-Less nights), since he is donning the role of Lord Sree Rama in the new movie ‘Sree Rama Rajyam’ happening under the direction of the iconic Bapu. Few unit members also reveal Balayya is staying away from Non-Veg as well till the whole film is complete.

One can recall the time when Balayya’s father, the great NTR also followed certain strict rules while donning the roles of Sree Rama or Krishna. As of now, Balayya has been handling the BLN challenge quite effectively, say sources. For the record, his favorite brand is Mansion House.

Lessons To Be Learned From Balayya

Superstars and tantrums go hand in hand. This is the strong belief in the cine circuit. However, Nandamuri Balakrishna is one man who is an exception to that. Despite being part of the ‘Big 4’ of the Tollywood circuit, it is heard that Balayya has always been few steps ahead when it comes to people and his nature.

A famous director who worked with Balayya revealed “Balayya does not demand a caravan. Generally, he sits under a tree with table and chair and sometimes has a fan whenever there is a break between scenes. He comes to sets 30 minutes prior to reporting time just like his father.”

Another director revealed an interesting bit “Balayya often carries a voice recorder.  He has the habit of recording his own voice in tape recorder and does a self judging of dialogue delivery. He also does homework on his character and his body language.”

All this has got many to raise one question- In the film ‘Khadgam’, there was a character which is shown as having 30 years experience in the film industry. Many assumed it was Balayya at that time but it appears he is not. There is no link between the real Balayya and the character shown in Khadgam. So…. who is that hero?

Rana's 'Chinna Choopu' On Balayya

The true material of a superstar or celebrity doesn’t lie in success alone. It depends on how he carries himself in the society and how he relates to others. Perhaps that is something Daggubati Rana is yet to learn. This is an advice the Nandamuri fans and few cine seniors were giving him after hearing his recent statement.

Incidentally, Rana was sharing his thoughts in an interview when he stated “It is impossible that actors like me, Allu Arjun, Ramcharan, Naga Chaitanya can reach the stage of Nagarjuna or Chiranjeevi because they are icons and legends.” While the statement looks fine, here is the missing link.

Many who followed the interview asked why Rana didn’t mention about Junior NTR or Nandamuri Balakrishna. Both actors have made a mark for themselves and in comparison, junior is leagues ahead of Rana, they add. Some of them were quipping that Rana has a long way to prove his mettle in cine industry so it is better he avoids such ‘Chinna Choopu’ on some deserving colleagues.

Aditya 369 Film Becomes Reality?

It is often perceived that there is too much fiction in Telugu cinema and most of it is just imagination. However, you will have to start thinking about it once you read this. Well, we are talking about the Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao- Balakrishna’s film ‘Aditya 369’ which released way back in 1991 and what was shown in that seems to have become a reality.

Apparently, few scenes in the film show how the Earth becomes barren and people start living underground in future followed by atomic radiation. Now with the recent catastrophe in Japan and the radiation threat looming large, many are being advised to stay indoors and in locked environments.

Some are asking “will world become like this in 2012??” While that is something no one knows, one thing is clear that ‘Aditya 369’ seems to have ruffled few thoughts which are causing disturbance to many. Only time will tell if more scenes of this socio fantasy film with time machine will become a reality…

Balakrishna is to set new trend. He has agreed to play a guest role in another hero's movie. According to our sources, Lakshmi Manchu and Mohan Babu have approached Balakrishna to play this important character in their next production starring Manchu Manoj in the lead role. After hearing the script, Balakrishna said to have given his green signal.

Sources say, Balakrishna is very fond of Manchu Manoj. That was another reason for the actor to say yes to this film titled Uu Kodutara Ulikki Padutara.

Newcomer Raja is directing this socio-fantasy film being produced by Lakshmi Prasanna.

Balakrishna's Desire For Hot Lady

Nandamuri Balakrishna may well be a mass hero but when it comes to his heroines, he has a classy taste. Going by his three heroine sentiment, Balayya ensures that atleast one of them is from a high quality league. Right now, it is heard that Balayya has cast his eyes on a Bollywood beauty.

She is none other than Vidya Balan and it is heard that Balayya wants to have this sensuous beauty as his leading lady for his next cinema. Right now, the Nandamuri hero has been patronizing Nayantara and got her in ‘Simha’ and ‘Sreerama Rajyam’. For some reason, Vidya Balan seems to have caught his attention now.

Sources say that Balayya’s team is already on the job trying to contact Vidya’s PRO but folks from Mumbai say she has got a packed schedule for the next two years. Under this situation, let us see whether Vidya will make space for Balayya or not. Well, Balayya’s next film story discussions are going on and Bellamkonda lined him up for his subsequent venture.

Balayya's 'Parama Veera' Kangaaru

Nandamuri Balakrishna has often been subject to jokes and morphing experiments in the web world. There are also the regular SMSes which make rounds in the mobile circuit on him. It is not like Balayya is not aware of them but this time he has reacted and even that seems to have gone in the favor of others.

It is known news that Balayya has filed a case against the website www.ihatebalayya.com and is successful in shutting down the site. However, it is heard that because of filing the case, the viewership to the site increased by multiple folds before it was shut down.

Apparently, not many knew about this site but with Balayya’s reaction, everyone got into action and the site reported maximum hits. Usually big stars don’t mind such things and ignore them. But Balayya’s reaction made everyone know about this site. So, Balayya’s ‘Kangaru’ in complaining to police seems to have given more visibility.

NBK - Parachuri Murali film progresses

Balayya Effect Closes Hate Websites

It is often said that no one messes with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the Tollywood arena and even the thought brings them shivers. However, one website did the unthinkable and came up with a hate philosophy on Balayya and has also paid the price for it.

It is known news that the websitewww.ihatebalayya.com was coming up with some mocking portrayal of Balayya and the Nandamuri family. As a result, Balayya decided to file a case against the website and here is the latest update. It is heard that the website got closed.

Incidentally, Balayya was disturbed over the content of the website which was damaging his image and decided to file a complaint. As a compound effect, another websitewww.ihatechiru.com also is reportedly closed. Well, let us wait to see who is next in the list.

Ramgopal Varma Inspired Balayya!!

Usually, it is the dialogues and body language of Nandamuri Balakrishna that charges up the masses and sometimes, a few in the film industry as well. But this time, it appears that Balayya seems to have drawn inspiration and that too from a rather unconventional man.

He is Ramgopal Varma and here is the reason for that inspiration. News is that Balayya is very miffed with a website that has been attacking him and his family members in a big way. True to the flavor, the site is called www.ihatebalayya.comand it has been ripping the Nandamuri family, especially Balayya, in a sticky fashion.

Now, it is heard that Balayya has decided to take action and will be filing a case against the site with the cyber police department. A source close to the star revealed “Balayya is fully aware that his jokes make big rounds in SMS and he took them sportively. But the website and its content has disturbed him a lot. He is taking the appropriate action on the makers of this site”. Let us see how the Nandamuri fans will react now…

Balakrishna Weeps Knowing The News

Nandamuri Balakrishna has often been seen as emotionally charged up onscreen but those who are close to him reveal he is the same off-screen too. But this time, his emotions were genuine and touched the hearts of those who were around him.

It is heard that recently the usually strong and tough Balayya was moved to tears. The reason for that was the sudden demise of Mullapudi Venkatramana. Sources reveal that Balayya was upset when he heard the news and went silent for a long time.

Balayya is currently working on the film ‘Sreerama Rajyam’ and the dialogues were penned by Mullapudi Venkataramana. Now, it is heard that Balayya was upset for the sudden demise of legendary writer. The unit members say they are touched by Balayya’s affectionate nature.
