Bollywood Balayya In Making

Though he is the superstar of the Telugu film industry and has a huge following, Nandamuri Balakrishna is a person who is also the sought after when it comes to light humor among the netizens and the thinking audience. However, our focus is now on Dasari Narayana Rao who is also known for his antics.

News is that the Darsakaratna is gearing up to make his presence felt in Bollywood which is sending shivers to the Tollywood folks. They say “Our reputation will be at stake if Dasari will show his directorial powers on the hapless Hindi audience”. The highlight is that Dasari is reportedly roping in the big star Sanjay Dutt for his project and it has been titled as ‘Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri’.

After hearing this, few others said “We have seen Dasari’s torturing powers through Young India, Parama Veera Chakra and how he made a mockery out of Balayya. Now, it looks like he will make Sanjay Dutt like Balayya in PVC. Only god can save the deadly Dutt and Bollywood audience."

'Re-Open Case Against Balaiah'

Re-opening old wounds appears to be the flavor of the season. After Telugu Desam Party and a section of Congress leaders demanded re-opening of Paritala Ravi murder case to probe the alleged role of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the rebel camp has come up with a counter.
Hitting back at the detractors, the spokesman of Jagan camp, Ambati Rambabu, has demanded re-opening of cases involving a shooting incident at film actor N Balakrishna’s residence and the mysterious death of a realtor at the residence of senior Congress leader K Kesava Rao’s son K Venkat.
“It is very clear that there is a match fixing between Congress and TDP to defame YSR family. When CBI had given clean chit to Jagan and closed the case, they are now demanding fresh probe only to malign the image of our leader,” Rambabu said.
If at all there are any cases that need fresh investigation, they are the shooting incident at Balakrishna’s house and the murder of real estate businessman Prashanth Reddy. “Let them re-open these two cases and ferret out facts,” Rambabu said.
Noted film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and his assistant Satyanarayana Choudhary were injured in a shoot-out at Balakrishna’s house on June 3, 2004. Subsequently, the case was closed after the injured persons turned hostile and retracted their earlier statement. This helped Balakrishna to bail out of the embarrassing case.
Similarly, Venkat came out of the murder case unscathed. Realtor Prashanth Reddy was allegedly shot dead at Venkat’s residence in September 2007 after heated argument over a property dispute.

'Parama Veera Chakra' Piracy In Internet Centres

This might sound like a shock to you but then the major disaster ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ is currently making rounds in the internet parlours. Wondering why? Well, it is noticed that the film is being watched the pirated version of the film in full blast sound without any problem.

Well, the point to notice is no one is caring even if it is pirated and have ignored it completely. The film is in that much pitiable condition. Recently, one of the busiest internet centres in the Lakdi Ka Pul area was spotted with the ‘PVC’ film being seen in one of the systems.

The consolation for director Dasari Narayana Rao is, atleast the film is being watched though in a pirated version. But then, it has clearly shown that at the end of the day, it is not words but stuff in the film that matters to the audience to give it a hit or phat.

Balakrishna Fires Dasari Not For 'PVC' Flop

Just like the way he is on the screen, Nandamuri Balakrishna is a very vibrant person who is not only strict but has also got his own set of rules. However, a recent incident has come to light which is now unleashing the volcano inside him and one man in particular is getting burnt by that. He is none other than Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao.
Apparently, his latest venture ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ has become a major flop and though all knew it as soon as it hit the screens, Balayya was kept in the dark. Dasari and a few ‘bhajana batch’ kept Balayya in mesmerizing mode giving him false reports about the result of the project.
Now he knew the truth and so he is blasting Dasari Narayana Rao, as per sources.
What is more paining for him than the flop is ‘calling a flop a hit’. That is most disturbing and Dasari did exactly that. Balayya is one man who doesn’t like cheating or lies. He strongly believes that success and failure of any film are not in our hands. But when he realized that Dasari cheated him, he is hitting the roof. It is very difficult to control Balayya if he gets angry, reveal his household staff.

As if that is not enough, Dasari’s statements like ‘PVC’ will get Balayya a National Award and Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt planning to remake in Hindi were the heights. The cine folks make it clear - never mess with Balayya, but what Dasari has done, the consequences he has to pay might be quite high.

Balayya Is Unaware Of 'PVC' Result

We all know that 'bad news travels fast'. The film Parama Veera Chakra was declared to be an utter flop on the day of its release itself. But, despite the movie released 10 days back, Balayya is still unaware of the actual result of the film. The people around are not letting Balayya know the facts.

In the 'PVC' success meet that was held two days back, Balayya was seen with high confidence in eyes and speech. Many said that it is the result of his ignorance about the movie. Balayya is still feeling that 'PVC' is doing sensations. The close aides of Balayya are also confirming this.

'PVC' is the biggest disaster in Balayya's entire career. It couldn’t make reasonable collections on first day itself. Balayya doesn’t know even that.

Balayya rightly suits as an example for 'ignorance is bliss'.

Balayya To Become 'Body Guard'

This may make you stunned. Balayya who appeared as Major Jayasimha in Parama Veera Chakra is now becoming 'Body Guard'? The story is like this.
A Malayalam film with title 'Body Guard' was released last year and won at box office. Dileep played lead role in the film while Nayanatara was the female lead. The same film was made in Tamil with Vijay and Asin with the title 'Kavalan' (means Body Guard). The film was released for this Sankranthi and that also bagged super hit talk.
We all know that Bellamkonda Suresh perches on such projects as and when he hears the hit talk. Now he is taking the remake rights of the film to make with Balakrishna.
Bellamkonda has been keen on making film with Balakrishna from quite some time. He already announced projects with Ride fame Ramesh Varma and Puri Jagannath but they didn't take off. We have to see when this Balayya project takes off.

Sankranthi Report: Fate Of 4 Releases

The festival of Sankranthi is the most auspicious for the Telugu people and the culture is imbibed into the Tollywood circuit as well.
The cine folks believe that since it is the opening of the year, they feel that a good start to the box office will always lead to good results down the line. Therefore, they come up with the best of the big budget movies and want to be the first winners in the list.
Now, the Sankranthi for 2011 is complete and four films were in the race for top honors. Three out of the four were big banner and big star flicks while the fourth was more of a urban treat. So, here is a look at the fate of all the films now that the festival frenzy is over.
Parama Veera Chakra:This was the most hyped and much awaited film from Nandamuri Balakrishna. After the blockbuster hit of ‘Simha’, many expected Balayya to repeat the magic and the fact that this was also the 150th directorial venture of Dasari Narayana Rao added to the hype. However, the film turned out to be a colossal disaster at the box office.
Though Balayya did justice to his act, many blamed the weak handling by Dasari which resulted in the flop. A film which is reportedly made at Rs 20 crore budget is currently scrambling to touch even Rs 2 crores.
Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu:
A super hyped fantasy flick, the film had many highlights. It marked the debut of Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Manchu in Telugu. It also welcomed the Hollywood giant Walt Disney into Telugu. Above all, this had Siddarth in an ambitious role of a warrior while the director if Kovelamudi Prakash, son of K Raghavendar Rao.  Despite so many plusses, the film still turned out to be a dud. Yet again, the cause for that is Prakash and his poor directorial abilities, said many.
Mirapakaya:
Mass maharaja Ravi Teja seems to be riding on luck somewhat. His earlier venture was ‘Don Seenu’ which scraped into a safe zone thanks to few external factors and the glamour of Shriya. This time, he has emerged to be the lucky winner once again. Though the film was not worthy of being given a pass mark, the poor performance of other two films and the crowd pulling factor of Ravi Teja worked the trick and reports say that the film is inching towards a commercial hit. This in a way, is relief to the box office.
Golconda High School:
The soft spoken hero Sumanth has arrived with an offbeat venture this time and this is the rather unconventional treat from director Indraganti Mohana Krishna of ‘Ashta Chemma’ fame. With cricket as the backdrop and sticking to the environment of the school like the title suggests, the film has got a mixed response. While few connected to the film very well on nostalgic grounds and love for cricket, few felt that it lacked the velocity and intensity to grip the audience. Overall, this is a clean film amidst the lot of masala flicks and with a message.
So folks, the Sankranthi season has given an overall disappointing result and now, the focus will be on the summer releases. Let us see if the heat picks up by then or not.

Dasari Expects National Award For 'PVC'

Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao is the best example for a person who lives in Ivory towers just like his stainless white uniform. But the best part always comes when he opens his mouth in front of the public or the media. His statements and the conviction with which he tells them blows the bulbs out of anyone.

Now, here is the latest one from him. Dasari was speaking at an event recently and declared that Balayya will win the National Award for ‘Parama Veera Chakra’. Though Dasari said that very seriously, it has become the highlight of comedy. Many say that if any National award goes to ‘PVC’ then it becomes the height of the century.

The cine folks say that already Dasari has spoiled the image of Nandi awards by ‘grabbing’ the best actor award and now this then it will cause a major trouble in the entire nation. Those who heard these lines from Dasari during the event could not help laughing their guts out.
