Director Turned Hero's Arrogance @ 'Machcha'

The noted writer/critic and the latest director BVS Ravi is also called as ‘Machcha’ Ravi. The reason for that is his birth mark on the cheek. Now, Ravi is all set to make his debut as a hero and this is happening through the new movie ‘Pelli’ which will be directed by the trio of Ramgopal Varma, Puri Jagannadh and Harish Shankar.

It is heard that when someone asked “Will you remove that mark or keep it while acting for the film?”, Ravi is reportedly taking a class to them. It seems he is saying “What are you talking? Machcha is my trademark and I got a special identity with it.”

He went on to add that “JD acted with a crooked beard in ‘Satya’, did he not get good identity across the nation? Despite having ‘Bolli’ Chandrababu Naidu became the CM, did that stop his charisma?”. Like this, he is reportedly giving examples with arrogance.

Those who heard this say “Basically, B V S Ravi is a very confident person mixed with a tinge of eccentricity. So, if someone asks any funny question, this is the sort of answer you can expect from Ravi.” That’s BVS Ravi for you folks.

Young Director's Anger On Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan may well be the darling of the masses but he sure is getting some opposition in the industry. It is heard that a young director is currently hitting the roof due to Pawan. He is none other than B V S Ravi, the budding director who came up with the film ‘Wanted’ recently.

The talk is that Ravi had thought about a title ‘Teen Maar’ for his new story and he was busy doing some opinion poll with his friends about that. Even before he could take action, Pawan & co went ahead and registered the same title for their next project which is the remake of the Bollywood hit ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

Now, it is heard that Ravi is miffed with the total incident. The cine folks say it is not sure whether Ravi’s opinion poll has given the idea of title to Pawan camp or coincidence but a little delay from Ravi has cost him.

Releasing Today: 'Wanted'

The time has come to have a look at what is going to entertain us at the theatre and this time, it is the turn of the new film which is slated to be an action entertainer but is reportedly focusing on showing a rather aggressive hero in a soft romantic role.

We are talking about the film ‘Wanted’. This has Gopichand as the hero while Deeksha Seth is the leading lady. The film also marks the debut of writer B V S Ravi as the director while Anand Prasad is the producer. The music for this is composed by Chakri and already the audio has got a decent response.

This is a crucial one for Gopi as he has not been able to score a proper hit out of his recent ventures. As for Ravi, the challenge of coming up with the most crucial role in the entire project remains. Here’s wishing all success for ‘Wanted’ and team at the box office.
