Preparations are in full swing for NTR Jr`s wedding on May 6 in Hyderabad. The wedding next month is said to be a grand affair with the who`s who of Hyderabad expected to make an appearance at the event.
A family member recently disclosed that the bride`s family was very particular about purchasing the traditional pattu sarees only from Kanchipuram. One hears that Lakshmi Pranathi, along with her mother and aunt, visited the silk city (via Chennai) recently to shop for her wedding trousseau.
Our Sources reveal that they ordered for some custom made sarees and purchased three sarees worth 1.10 crore. These special sarees are said to be woven with pure gold and silver zari and feature an elephant motif that has been expertly crafted near the border. They bought a saree worth 50 lakh for the wedding day and two more in the range of 20 lakh for the pre-wedding ceremonies.
