Puri Jagannadh's 'C-Lessons' To Bollywood Heroine

From the very start of his career, director Puri Jagannadh has followed the rebellious way and that was seen in his movies. While his unconventional approach is known, another talk in the cine circuit is that he has a special hatred towards film reviewers.

Right now, it is heard that the Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut has been spitting fire on film reviewers. While many were wondering why this special fire out of the blue, here is the inside talk. It is heard that our man Puri has been busy teaching some 'Controversial’ lessons to this curly hair beauty.

Incidentally, Puri is in Bollywood for his debut venture and it is heard that he has been roaming with Kangna. Buzz is that maybe he must have filled Kangna’s ears about the reviewers. As such, many say Puri doesn’t like film critics. This was seen through his film ‘Neninthe’ where he blasted them with exclusive scenes.

Some are also saying he filled the ears of RGV for ‘KSD Appalaraju’ and did some mud slinging on film critics.

Aishwarya Rai Amazed By Jagan

By reading the headline, you may suddenly think we are talking about Y S Jagan but the man we are talking about is director Puri Jagannadh. Though many in the outside world know him as Puri, the film industry folks call him Jagan and even while taking his reference it is heard that they use Jagan and not Puri.

Now, it is heard that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is quite impressed with Puri Jagannadh. Well, our man is currently in Mumbai gearing up to take off with the shooting of his debut venture ‘Buddah’. This has the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, father-in-law of Aishwarya in the lead.

Incidentally, Ash was present during the opening day of shooting for the film and it is heard from unit members that she was amazed at Puri’s shot composition, maturity in talk and clarity of thought. At this rate, the day is not far when ‘Jagan nama Smarana’ will commence in the Bollywood circuit too.

'Re-Open Case Against Balaiah'

Re-opening old wounds appears to be the flavor of the season. After Telugu Desam Party and a section of Congress leaders demanded re-opening of Paritala Ravi murder case to probe the alleged role of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the rebel camp has come up with a counter.
Hitting back at the detractors, the spokesman of Jagan camp, Ambati Rambabu, has demanded re-opening of cases involving a shooting incident at film actor N Balakrishna’s residence and the mysterious death of a realtor at the residence of senior Congress leader K Kesava Rao’s son K Venkat.
“It is very clear that there is a match fixing between Congress and TDP to defame YSR family. When CBI had given clean chit to Jagan and closed the case, they are now demanding fresh probe only to malign the image of our leader,” Rambabu said.
If at all there are any cases that need fresh investigation, they are the shooting incident at Balakrishna’s house and the murder of real estate businessman Prashanth Reddy. “Let them re-open these two cases and ferret out facts,” Rambabu said.
Noted film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and his assistant Satyanarayana Choudhary were injured in a shoot-out at Balakrishna’s house on June 3, 2004. Subsequently, the case was closed after the injured persons turned hostile and retracted their earlier statement. This helped Balakrishna to bail out of the embarrassing case.
Similarly, Venkat came out of the murder case unscathed. Realtor Prashanth Reddy was allegedly shot dead at Venkat’s residence in September 2007 after heated argument over a property dispute.

It is known news that Ram Gopal Varma is all set to take off with a rather unusual yet sensational project. This is the film ‘Dongala Mutha’ which will be made in a record breaking 5 days and that too with just 8 crew members. Now, the update is that 2 out of the 8 have been confirmed.
First in the list is Puri Jagannadh and it is heard that he would be the co-director for Ramu in the film and secondly, it would be Harish Shankar of ‘Mirapakaya’ fame who will be donning the role of an associate director. The remaining 6 are yet to be confirmed.
This is a historical feat and it is heard that there is huge competition for the remaining six posts. Inside talk is that on the sets, there will be only 8 technicians excluding Ram Gopal Varma. Now that Puri and Harish are in the team, all eyes are now on who is going to be the chosen six for this historical project.
