'Appalraju' postponed

With ' Jai Bolo Telangana ' (JBT) is hitting the screens on February 4th, several other films that were scheduled for release on the same day landed in a fix. Ram Gopal Varma cleverly took the decision to postpone his KSD Appalraju a nd not to compete with JBT. Appalraju is now postponed to February 10th.

Nizam area is now biggest market for Telugu films and almost half of the collections are coming from this region. So no producer would want to compete with JBT that naturally has clear edge in the area. Moreover, all TV channels in the state would provide extensive coverage to JBT on Feb 4th, so other films won't get attention at all. Considering all these aspects, Appalraju is postponed to Feb 10th, althoughAppalraju is also hottest project. 

Ram Gopal Varma Reveals 'Babu Garu' Secret

It is known news that Ram Gopal Varma is currently busy with the arrival of his new film ‘KSD Appalaraju’ and more than the film, it is the characters in the film which has become a topic of attention. And one among them is ‘Babu Garu’ which has led to many speculations.

As usual, the e-media also has been doing its best to cook a controversy out of that and realizing that Ramu has given the clarity. He defined the word ‘Satire’ for starters and revealed that ‘Babu Garu’ is a respectable term given to sons who hail from film families. He also said that no big hero asks people to call him ‘babu garu’ but the people call him so to give respect looking at the potential background he has. There is nothing wrong in calling them so and there is no wrong in that term.

He was candid in stating that such ‘Babu Garu’s are many in the cine circuit and his portrayal of character was not specific to anyone. Though Ramu did his bit, the TV channels are working their own analysis to put 2 and 2 together and come up with a sensation. Let us see what happens next.
