Rajinikanth is unhappy with Deepika Padukone

Superstar Rajinikanth is not happy with the look of Deepika Padukone in his upcoming film Rana. Rajini, who is very particular about every aspect of this film, is keen on all the details. Hence, the look designed for Deepika had to be changed as the superstar is not at all impressed with it.

Rana is a very different film that spans three different time periods. Rajinikanth plays a multi-generational triple role and Deepika Padukone is paired opposite him in his youth. Rajini has now asked the make-up team to go back to the drawing board and devise a new look, sending the entire schedule into a tizzy. Only after Rajnikanth okays Deepika’s look, will the shoot commence.

Rajinikanth has reportedly told director K S Ravikumar that he felt Deepika needed to look simple, yet traditionally beautiful, and that wasn’t coming across in the current look.

Kareena upset with Deepika for spreading false rumour

Bollywood sensations Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are not in the best relations at the moment. Kareena alleges that Deepika is spreading rumours that she was the first choice for an item song in Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One.

The news reached the ears of Kareena, fact which made her quite angry with Deepika.

Kareena was shocked to hear this, and insists that she and she alone was in the mind of Shah Rukh Khan for the “Chammak Challo” dance number. The actress says that Deepika is only trying to gain mileage for the “Dum Maaro Dum” title track. According to a close source stated that the “Chamak Challo” is not even an item number, and since Kareena is the lead actress in the film, it was only natural that she would be the one to star in the track. There is no sense in considering Deepika for the song.

Ra.One director Anubhav Sinha, he said, “We never approached Deepika for an item song. Chamak Challo is an integral part of the story. The song will be catchy, glamorous and sexy but it`s not an item song, which are usually random additions that don`t need a story.

There have been reports that Bollywood's leggy lass Deepika Padukone has done an item song in Pawan Kalyan's current film, Teenmaar. When asked about this, producer Ganesh Babu denies the reports. "No, we don't have any such plans," he said.

Deepika Padukone is very close to director Jayanth C Paranji and she even did an item song in his now defunct movie - Love 4 Ever . So naturally, everyone thought that he would rope in her for this film too. Plans are to bring in another heroine for a song to be shot in USA.

As of now, Deepika Padukone has not done any item song in the film.
