Sexy Tollywood Exports For Kollywood
Films and storylines keep shuttling between Tollywood and Kollywood, that is common. Eventually, it developed to the shuttling of heroines. But these days, it is more of an export as most of the heroines who go to one cine circuit stay there for a long time. Two of such exports from Tollywood are currently creating chaos in Tamil Nadu.
They are the duo of Tamannah, Hansika. Apparently, both have been creating quite a mania and our sources from Tamil Nadu reveal how the hot hoardings of Tammu and Hansi are giving sleepless nights to the Tamil Thambis. On the other hand, their movies are also scoring big success with the mass audience.
While they are in the top league, it is noticed that even Taapsee has begun to create waves. After Tamannah and Hansika left Tollywood, it is long since they have returned. While the Kollywood folks are enjoying the sexy exports from Tollywood, the Telugu folks are hoping for some hot Sambar beauties to burn the Telugu screens, let us see when that will happen.

Tollywood In Biggest Losses Ever

One of the promising movies ‘Teen Maar’ also got good take off and a response from A centers but it is heard that the collections are affected at B, C centers. Usually, it is only the masses who form the repeat audience. In the bargain, it is the distributors, exhibitors etc who are the worst affected.
They can’t pay theatre rents when they don’t get their money and they end up investing in films. Inside talk is that usually it is the canteen owners, cycle stand owners who decide the fate of a film in the theatre. If crowds are not in, they reportedly pressurize the theatre owners to remove the film since their collections are down.
Perhaps it is time for the Tollywood folks to do some revamping of their fundamentals and concepts.

Bikini waves rejoice T-Fans
![]() |
After enthralling the fans for quite a few years, this petite beauty is attempting that big thing on Telugu silver screen. After making fans chill out with her hot moves in 'Teen Maar', sexy beauty Trisha is all set to fire the big-screen again. News of Trisha's supposed biking scene in producer Bellamkonda Suresh's upcoming flick 'Bodyguard' with family hero Venkatesh is doing rounds in Film Nagar. As per reports, lured with an extra remuneration of 25 lakhs other than her regular one crore, Trisha accepted to sport a two piece extravaganza. Though she has done many such bikini shoots during her modeling days, this is her first one in Telugu movies. Trisha-Fans are waiting for that big day to celebrate their joy with their heroine's hot looks. However, critics opined that Trisha may look unattractive in bikini, as her body has more oomph but no good curves. |

Tollywood Suffers Huge Losses Due To That!!
The bad time of Tollywood has been continuing since few years. As if the flop of big films is not enough, here is another teething problem causing big trouble. We are talking about the strike which has struck the Telugu cinema in less than a span of six months and not one scene has been canned since the past ten days leading to huge losses.
Big films are getting affected due to that and notable among them are Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dhookudu’ NTR-Boyapati Srinu’s untitled film, Nani’s ‘Pilla Zamindar’ Ram-Hansika’s ‘Kandireega’ and Nikhil’s ‘Veedu Theda’. Even ‘Badrinath’ is reportedly stopped at dubbing stages. Apparently, the producers council came up with few initiatives in December 2010 to cut costs and this included slashing perks and remunerations for actors.
Now, the Andhra Pradesh Film Employees Federation has been on strike demanding hike in salaries. Few rounds of talks have taken place between the council and federation and a solution was arrived but still the strike has not stopped, as per sources. While 17 associations have agreed, it is heard that few other associations such as lightmen, production boys, technicians, costume unions are not accepting which is causing trouble. Lack of unity among the union leaders is said to be the problem.
Buzz is that producers like Ravi Kishore, M L Kumar Chowdary, Dil Raju etc are having tough losses due to this. The most affected are the daily wage workers and though talks are on, there seems to be a long way for this to end.

Sandalwood Spitting On Tollywood
Becoming a role model is one thing and becoming an example for a lesson is another thing. Right now, the state of Tollywood seems to be in the latter category. Well, the Telugu film industry which boasts of being the second largest after Bollywood and the number one to come up with maximum films has now become a laughing stock for other cine circuits.
Recently, few articles have begun to make rounds in the Kannada media houses. The Sandalwood folks are spitting on Tollywood for the quality of films being generated despite overflowing budgets and best infrastructure. Examples of movies like ‘Varudu’ ‘Komaram Puli’ ‘Shakti’ ‘Khaleja’ were taken to support their talk.
Now, the buzz is that seniors in Sandalwood are asking all their film fraternity members to have a look at Tollywood and learn a good lesson. One of the noted producers of Kannada cinema reportedly said “There is only quantity and no quality in Telugu cinema. It is all show and decoration on outside but everything is hollow inside.”
It is time Tollywood makes amends…

Young couple's secret affair!
\![]() |
It might be shocking to hear that south Indian lover boy Siddharth is recently divorced. Apparently few in industry circles knew this as he refrained from announcing the same in public. Ever since Sid's alleged love affair with Shruti Hassan has gone deranged in media both of them remained tight lipped on this subject. Love birds often find difficult to stay distant from each other. So, Shruti and Siddharth were spotted yesterday in a five star hotel in Kerala. Both of them checked in with a plan to spend their time intimately till 17th of this month. After repeated encounters with media in parties, lunch and dinner meetings at Mumbai hot spots, the young couple has chosen Kerala as a safe place. It is more than a year that Sid is dating Shruti successfully and both were together every time. Purposefully they are not in a position to confess on their secret relationship. One might wonder on, is there any problem with Kamal Hassan? |
Shameful Comedian eyeing on Busts!
![]() |
After indulging into disgusting acts while speaking at a youth festival earlier, drunkard comedian Krishna Bhagawan is striking all wrong chords now. The most lucrative form of getting people's attention is by doing negative things and the comedian seems following it. With no good movies in hand, Krishna Bhagawan has become a slave of extensive alcohol drinking. After a couple of peg’s intake, this shameful comedian is behaving shamelessly as per reports. The other day, Krishna Bhagawan and his writer friends are all present at a famous club in Jubilee Hills to cheer up Deccan Chargers IPL match. Many onlookers noticed Krishna Bhagawan and felt uncomfortable when he is looking only at the busts of ladies at the party. A part goer stated that Krishna Bhagawan is only looking at that particular area constantly, without even shaking his head. The absurd acts look like insulting both women and the highly respected culture of Telugu people. Days are not far for this comedian to get banned from TFI, it appears. |

Should Telugu Heroes unveil Image-Mask?
![]() |
Big Heroes have been testing the patience of audience with their huge budgeted flicks made with sick content. Mahesh Babu's 'Khaleja', Ram Charan's 'Orange', Pawan Kalyan's 'Puli' and Jr NTR's 'Shakti' are the best examples of this 'torture' art. Again and again, our makers are coming up with same dud flicks that tumble at the BO. The main culprit behind these money wasting blunders is said to be the mass-image of our Star heroes. The time has surely come for Star Telugu heroes to come out of their 'image' mask to deliver good hits at the Box Office. Veiled with that mass image 'musugu', our top heroes are becoming buffoons with their each advancing day for the kind of flicks they make. When it comes to a Star-Hero's movie, directors are adding unwanted sick comedy and sensational fights to enthrall the star’s fans. In the name of that 'image', these extra terrestrial elements are spoiling the originality and genuineness of the content. 'Khaleja' and 'Puli' are the best examples in the recent past, while 'Teen Maar' is the best one today. While the hindi original 'Love Aaj Kal' portrays the expressions and emotions of love at peak levels, its Telugu remake was altered with senseless fights. For targeting whole sections of B & C centres, the films should be completely commercial with all heroic elements. If they go on changing genuine subjects into melodramatic content for the sake of fans, audience will keep on rejecting them. Star heroes should change their mindset to make good films unveiling their image-mask, such that the facet of Telugu Industry will change to reach new levels. |

Boy-Hero's maturity in discussion!
![]() |
Suddenly, Telugu audiences were shocked when this child actor became a hero at a tender age. Despite of his repeated attacks as a hero, the young boy looks like a kid and same is his maturity. Widely discussed guy in Tollywood now is none other than young hero Tanish. With only two hits to his tender career, Tanish is now beating his head to make his place stable in Telugu Industry. When we look closely, Tanish's hit films 'Nachavule' and 'Ride' are the only ones where he played a youth role of his age. Afterwards, all his flicks project him as a highly matured hero despite his childish looks and gestures. These over matured roles in 'Mounaraagam', 'Em Pillo Em Pillodo' and 'Manchivadu' are the examples of how awkward he looks. Industry experts are saying that Tanish has no maturity to select the roles that suit him best. What looks obvious is the forced exit of this boy-hero, if he doesn't tighten his shoestrings. |

Serial Killings shock 'Film Nagar'
![]() |
Dreaded murders and miserable killings are some acceptable content on silver screen, but not in real life. From a couple of months, the whole of Film Nagar is shocked with the 'serial killings' which are making other senior actors to shiver. These cold blooded murders are committed by the 'God of Death' without any mercy. Rather than shining luck on the films that are releasing in Tollywood, the God has been showing the power of bad luck on the pillars of Telugu Cinema. Starting from January this year, the 'god of death' is making a noted icon to quit from the tinsel world, every month. It started with the shocking demise of director EVV Satyanarayana in Jan, followed by prolific writer Mullapudi Venkataramana in Feb, veteran and versatile actor Nutan Prasad in March and yesteryear heroine Sujatha in April. Before anyone could recover the jolt, villian Ramireddy became a pawn in the hands of cruel God the other day. Film Nagar veterans and industry members who are recovering from ill-health are all on a sleepless nights because of these 'Serial Killings'. Let us pray God to stop these dreaded murders! |

Young Hero's 'Business-in-America'
![]() |
Much business is not happening for this young guy on film front, but the business of his personal life became an instant hit. Tumbling frequently at the BO is making NRI hero Varun Sandesh look for new ways to do business. According to grapevine, Varun Sandesh has invested huge amounts of money in petrol and retail business in USA. The whole of his remunerations may not account to a lump sum to convert into an investment. As per insiders, the money he is investing belongs to sexy beauty Shraddha Das, who is wandering here and there along with Varun Sandesh. Though the affair is strongly protested by Varun's father in phase one, the background and money behind Shraddha Das made his mind to reconsider the earlier decision. Other than the seductive angle of Shraddha Das, the affair also had the 'Business' angle of Varun Sandesh it appears. |

Next Who???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whether luck will shine on box office of Tollywood or not, bad luck has always been smiling on the Telugu cine circuit. As if the staggering economy of the industry is not enough, the year 2011 has not taken off on a good note for the cine folks as they seem to be cast by an evil shadow of death and despair.
Apparently, the evil eye of ‘Mruthyu Devatha’ (The Grim Reaper) seems to have fallen on Tollywood. In January, it was the demise of EVV Satyanarayana at an early age, this was followed by the tragic passing away of the iconic Mullapudi Venkatramana and the veteran Mikkilineni in the month of February. Again, March saw the death of Nutan Prasad and before anyone could recover from the pain, April has arrived with the demise of actress Sujatha.
With this, fears are rising among the cine circuit as to who else will be visited by the ‘Mruthyu Devatha’ and how many more stars will fall from the list. Sad but true…

Kalyan Ram's Mafia scares Top Directors
![]() |
Quite usual trend in Telugu Film Industry is to sell fruits in the name of an ancient tree. 'Chettu Peru Cheppi Kaayalu Ammadam' is its quick translation in Telugu. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram falls as a better example for that saying. Regardless of his repeated attempts like 'Mohammad Gajini', Kalyan Ram is not able to score a hit except 'Athanokkade'. Always trying to say something with 'Maa Nanna and Maa Taata' stories, this Nandamuri hero is unable to identify the fact that content is the key to success. After deciding in his mind to score a hit desperately, Kalyan Ram is said to be meeting top directors of the industry to direct a flick for him. While those directors are trying to avoid Kalyan Ram, this flop hero is taking the help of his father and his associates to setup meetings with them. Scared by this 'Mafia' of Kalyan Ram, top directors are planning to meet Jr NTR to avoid disturbances from his brother. |

Directors testing audience's patience!
These are days where audiences are expecting creative intelligence to make a flick create records at the BO. To fulfill their desires, film makers are coming up with unique content to mint money. While some are clicking, others are evaporating in the air in the first week of their release. Trends changed with the advent of young and energetic hero Ram Charan's 'Magadheera'. Director Rajamouli etched the best out of Ram Charan for a superb content with his creative vision and artistic taste. After seeing the grand success of 'Magadheera', many directors took the same way to score an equivalent hit. First to come is veteran director Raghavendra Rao Son, Prakash's 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu'. Touted to be a fantasy flick, no part of the movie enchanted the audience despite of the big tags like Disney, Siddharth, Shruti Hassan attached with it. The flick tested the patience of audience before joining the group of below average grosser. Then, there comes this 'Shakti', directed by Meher Ramesh that has Jr NTR in the lead. Though the movie starts on a powerful note with interesting 'Shakti Peetam' concept, the plot lacks depth alongside pale narration. The high openings received by 'Shakti' cannot pull the entire investment of producer Ashwini Dutt back is the bottom line for this flick. Now, Allu Arjun's flick 'Badrinath' under the direction of VV Vinayak is coming to test the serenity of movie-lovers. When will our directors show their originality rather than torturing audience with their copy-cat ideas, is a million dollar question that is to be answered. Source: Gulte |

'Piracy' Rocket @ Popular Film Lab
Piracy ghost has its wings sprawled across the Telugu Film Industry, pushing many producers into unrecoverable losses. Earlier, piracy of newly released to movies is said to be done overseas after which a copy is sent to India via internet. Now, this ghost has its gang operating in the heart of Film Nagar, as per reports. This Film-Studio has all the latest facilitates from production to post-production and plays a major role in Telugu Cinema Industry's productions. A rumor is doing rounds in Film Nagar that a 'piracy rocket' is on a spree at the Film Printing Lab of this studio. Prior to a film's release, its pirated version is getting recorded on the hard-disk of a HD camera when the first copy of it is getting printed. Recently released RGV's 'Dongala Muta' and Charmi's 'Mangala' are the victims of this 'ghost' in the heart of Tinsel town. It is also heard that many big-wigs are involved in this racket, which earns crores of rupees when a new movie is released. |
