Our sources from Bollywood reveal that the dusky bombshell Bipasha Basu who has paired up with Rana in his debut film ‘Dum Maro Dum’ has now come up with another proposal. News is that she has asked Rana to act in another movie based on a period story (tentatively Droupadi) and here is the interesting twist, even Bipasha is also part of the project and she expects Rana to pair with her.

Given his towering height and a chiseled frame, Rana sure has the looks of a warrior or prince. But those who heard this in Mumbai are saying “We are hoping to see a mass masala image of Rana in Nenu Naa Rakshasi. Now, if he takes up this period project, it might be a ‘U’ turn for his image. But yes, he does generate good heat when he pairs up with Bipasha”.

Our sources in Bollywood reveal that Rekha has walked out of the trilingual project since she has few issues on the remuneration aspect with the makers. Now, the makers are looking at ‘Dream Girl’ Hema Malini to fill in the shoes of Rekha and already Deepika Padukone has been confirmed as one of the three leading ladies. It is heard that Rekha has demanded a whopping Rs 4 crores.

For now, Rekha was not available for comment and the official spokesperson of Eros has stated that a formal announcement would be done once the casting has been finalized. The film is being produced by Ocher Studios and it is directed by K S Ravi Kumar.
