'Swarnayuga S.Darsakulu' book launched

Journalist Pulagam Chinnarayana's new book ' Swarnayuga Sangeeta Darsakulu'was launched on Sunday at Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan in Hyderabad. Popular music website Chimatamusic.com brought this book out and Sanagam Acamey convened the book launch event. Veteran singers S Janaki, S P Balasubramaniam, Rao Balasarswati, Shoba Naidu, veteran lyricist C Narayana Reddy, director Vamsi, music director Radhakrishnan, politician Mandali Buddha Prasad, Chimata Srinivasa Rao and Pulagam graced the event.

C Narayana Reddy unveiled the first copy of the book and presented to Balu. Later SP Balu and Janaki felicitated writer Pulagam and Chimata Srinivasa Rao.

C N R lauded the effort to bring out the book about great musicians and he said that he wrote lyrics for all the music directors except one music director that were put on the cover page of the book.

S P Balu said that Chimata Srinivas Rao is his ardent fan. "In the beginning he posted my songs in more numbers on his website but when he scolded him for that he put up of other singers songs too. I appreciate both Pulagam and Srinivas Rao for brining out this book as many of this generation doesn't know the great music directors of bygone era. This will be helpful to this generation," he said.
