Having worked with the TV program ‘Colors’, the term has become a part of her household name for Swathi. Whenever, her name is taken, she is referred as ‘Colors’ Swathi and till recently, she also liked being called that way. But all of a sudden, she has urged with the media not to call her ‘Colors’ Swathi and address her as Swathi only.
When enquired on why Swathi is feeling so allergic to that term, a very surprising thing came to light. It is known that she was called ‘Colors’ Papa out of affection. However, it is now heard that whenever Swathi hears the word ‘Colors Papa’ it seems she is remembering the word ‘Boring Papa’.
The film ‘Lorry Driver’ which had Balakrishna in the lead had a character played by Jayalalitha, it was called ‘Boring Papa’ which brought a lot of popularity to Jayalalitha. Even today, her fans call her like that affectionately. That is why, whenever Swathi hears ‘Colors Papa’, it seems she is remembering ‘Boring Papa’ and it is pricking somewhere.
Since she cannot reveal such thoughts, she has been pleading all to stop calling her ‘Colors’ Swathi.
