Sources say that the project was originally meant to be done with Varun Sandesh after ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ on Geeta Arts banner. It is heard that they wanted to cash in on the hit pair of Varun and Tamannah during that time. However, it got postponed from time to time and in between, Varun ended up with lot of flops.

As a result, the makers went ahead with Chaitu. And here is another interesting twist. As such, sources say it was Naga Chaitanya who was supposed to do ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ and that got shifted to Varun Sandesh who eventually scored a hit. So, it became more of a give and take between the two heroes.
